Evening folks!
It's been absolutely freezing in these parts, never mind the Wizard of Oz weather going on outside the window. So it doesn't feel so odd to be sharing a Christmas card this evening!
As you may remember the week 7 colour prompt is this pic:
Hm... I bet you are wondering what kind of Christmas card features those colours....
How about this?
Paper: Crate Paper
Stamps: WPlus9
Seambinding: The Ribbon Girl
Pearls: Kaisercraft
Other: Pattern wheel, Stickles
I went more with the aqua and spearmint tones with this card - but included blues in the stamped fronds and bow. All the stamps are from the same set by WPlus9 - Silver Bells. All the stamping is using Distress Inks, I traced an oval with a pencil to try and get everything more or less lined up and because the inks are dye inks there's no smudging when you come to erase the pencil marks when you are done.
Right, I suppose I'd best get thinking about next week's prompt! ;)
Oh I love this and almost didn't notice the pretty ribbon edging I was so busy gazing at the stamped image. Very pretty and very Christmassy too.

Thank for the inspiration as always.

Great job of lining up all those intricate little stamps. Not a colour palette I'd think of for Christmas cards, but it works beautifully.
