Well the weekend has whooshed by so far!
Friday night I had the first taste of Christmas festiveness with Christmas dinner and carols, I am definitely feeling much more festive now!
And to aid with that feeling here are some more snaps from the tree.
Day 6 featured one of my festive felt birdies:

Day 7 featured my new beardy Father Christmas ornament from John Lewis - we bought one for my mum and dad's tree last year and since he was back I wanted one for mine too!
And today for day 8 it's another brand new ornament - my love of miniature houses continues, I bought this lovely one in Fenwick's in Newcastle and it was NOT cheap, that's for sure.... but I couldn't resist the snowman in that little garden with the picket fence and all that vintage glass glitter:
So aside from those I've been sorting out my fantastic Florida haul from my wonderful pal Becky....
...who brought me back a restock of some Bath and Bodyworks soaps and plenty of 3D foam pads to keep me going in 2014! Ooooh and crunchy Cheetos, yummo! It's a shame you can't get them over here, so much nicer than regular Cheetos I think.
Anyway, must get a few more things on my to-do list done - including writing this stack of cards:
And I need to pop on Amazon to order some gifts before I forget! And at some point I need to bake that Banana Loaf for dessert tonight, hm, perhaps I need to reorganize the priority of these things!
