Day 16 and 17 Deck the Halls

Well it's time for my first "guest spot" from the land of Christmas decorating.

My mum and dad's tree still has some original vintage Polish baubles that have survived 3 decades of felines. Alas these are rather few nowadays, but they are still beautiful, especially these baubles of which only 3 survive now and my favourite colour combination is this one:

Oh so pretty! And they look their best nestled in the branches of a real Christmas tree.

Today it's a return to my mantelpiece - at one end is the Toadstool tealight holder I shared earlier, and at the other is...

Rudolph! He is very happily sat guarding the little red sleigh - I'm looking forward to using my new Yankee Snowflake Cookie and Merry Marshmallow tealights in him for those evenings (if and when they arrive) of sitting by the fire and reading. ;)
