This month's blog hop over at PTI is all about wreaths. So what better excuse than to get out my Wreath for All Seasons stamp set (sadly neglected, but about to be put right!) and set about creating another addition to my Christmas card pile? ;o)
Paper: MME
Cardstock: PTI (Vintage Cream), Bazzill Cardshoppe (Taffy)
Impression plates: PTI (Woodgrain, Canvas)
Stamps: PTI (Wreath for All Seasons, Fillable Frames #9, Button Boutique)
Die: PTI (Button Boutique card)
Ink: PTI (Tea duo, Aqua Mist, Berry Sorbet, Dark Chocolate, Sweet Blush), Prima (Old Road), Hero Arts Shadow Ink (Soft Peach)
Other: Sewing machine
I wanted to go with a soft vintage feel and the look is a lot softer in real life. But anyway, to change things up a little I used the landscape woodgrain side on a portrait card and quite like the end result. The button card is matted on a piece of Taffy grey cardstock that is a lovely warm shade of light grey - I ran this through on the canvas side of the impression plate and the texture is very subtle. A bit of stitching finished things off nicely. :)
Thanks for stopping by!
I love, love, love the vintage look you achieved here! I didn't see that you used designer paper and an assuming you created that awesome background! Very nice work!!

Love your lovely vintage wreath card, Natty! The colors are so pretty and soft. The woodgrain embossing is a beautiful touch too.
