Morning everyone - this week it's time for a photo prompt!
I saw this pic on Pinterest and thought it would provide some lovely inspiration for cardmaking:
If the colours don't grab you then perhaps the umbrellas themselves could provide a theme for your card, e.g., get well wishes for someone feeling under the weather, a parasol on the beach if you want to cling onto a bit of summer, a little Parisian café scene complete with an apt greeting, or a similar scene to the photo but replacing the umbrellas with bunting or lights strung between the buildings.
Your only limitation is your imagination! :)
I found a lovely sheet of paper in the Crate Paper Pier line with a design made up of lots of different coloured beach umbrellas.
I thought it would make a lovely background even though the colours don't match the photo. Alas when it came to making my card I was not feeling the creative love so it's definitely not a favourite creation, but hey ho...
Paper: Crate Paper
Stamps: PTI
Dies: MFT, PTI
Button: October Afternoon
With the angle of the sun and the amount of daylight we're now getting I'm trying to see if a white background for card photos helps... the jury is still out on that one - I kind of miss my green wall, but it's definitely easier to get the white balance near enough right. ;o)
