I am just quickly hopping online after getting in from a lovely afternoon spent in the park and then enjoying a veritable feast with Zoe and the girls (so much of a feast we were totally exhausted by 9 p.m.!) to share the card project I made for PTI's August blog hop colour challenge and sketch combo.
The sketch I chose was this one:
I already had an idea firmly in mind when I got down to creating this card, and it almost turned out 100% like I envisaged - a true rarity. ;o)
Cardstock: PTI Plum Pudding, Royal Velvet, Hawaiian Shores, Simply Chartreuse, Rustic White
Impression plate: PTI Woodgrain
Stamps and dies: PTI Mini blooms, Fancy Folk Art
Other dies: Spellbinders circles
Other: 3D foam, Stickles
I really liked the colour combo for this sketch with the purples, green, and aqua shades - really bold and the perfect excuse for some negative die cutting, I seem to be addicted to it at the moment. ;o)
Anyway, best get this posted and head to bed before I fall asleep at my desk. I am hoping for a crafty day tomorrow what with it being Bank Holiday Monday in much of the UK. Plenty of opportunity to play with new stash. :D
Gorgeous!!! Your embossed panel and pretty layered blooms puts this card over the top!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. This is the sketch I wanted to go with and you went with the same distribution of colour that I would have but I could not pull it off, this is fabulous Nat, really.

Beautiful card. Great take on the sketch. Love how deep the woodgrain impression is.
