My weekend has mostly been spent...

Cleaning the house - long overdue - which included trying to sort out the flipping washing machine with some service washes, think I will need to get some of that oust washing machine cleaner again. :o(

Trying to keep up with what was going on in the garden:

My white blush peonies finally exploded and I almost missed it!

And making something with this secret ingredient...

That ended up looking like this:

I also made a card (with the aid of Sarah Milican Live on the DVD player) and hung a big reframed family photo that is over 100 years old now with my dad's help but more on that when I can get a decent photo.

So, 48 hours whooshed by like nobody's business!

And most annoyingly of all I woke up at 5 a.m. not just yesterday, but this morning as well so not even a weekend lie in for my trouble.

No doubt when the alarm goes off tomorrow morning for work I will be dead to the world and catching up on that list sleep!

Oh well, with any luck the sun will stick around (I missed most of it this weekend while attending to various other things) and I'll manage a couple of hours after work soaking up the rays... I sound so optimistic eh? ;o)

Right, nearly time for The White Queen - I'm off!
