What a beautiful blog! Saw your chalkboard card on PTI's blog and became an instant fan! Love those roses. Am constructing a card today to enter your color challenge. Blessings in 2013!

Jacquie

Beautiful card - love the chalk roses in the corners - perfect balance for the large bouquet!

don't tell Betsy but I think this card is better than hers. It is one of your best in my humble opinion!

so so gorgeous! I am really into the chalkboard technique and love seeing how everyone has designed their boards! I love your addition of the flowers...the colours just pop off the black chalkboard. Thanks for inspiring!

Wow, thanks for all the lovely comments. :D I have to say I think I will be applying this technique a few times in 2013, how nice to start the creative year off with such a fab creative discovery that makes you want to get the cardmaking stash out and play on!

Miri

Your card is so elegant and beautiful. And I have to check out the chalkboard technique right away ...

I've not seen this technique before, Nat. It looks really nice, so I'm now going back to the link in your post to see how it's done. I'm glad to hear that you are using your KFC stash! Julie x

Thank you muchly girls!

Julie I am glad to say that I AM actually using some of my new stash - it would be a crime not to considering the size of my Credit Card bill minus iPad! hehe

Mind you, a lot of it was Christmas stash, so I should certainly be better prepared for Christmas card writing come December! :oS

Keilly

Wow, this is such a beautiful card and thank you for introducing me to such a fun technique, will definitely be trying this out. x
