Time for a little monkeying around!

Well it is official monkey day today... which is why Samm has set us the challenge of featuring these cheeky creatures on our card projects this week over on the DCM blog. :)

Here's what I came up with:

Paper: Crate
Sticker: Doodlebug
Stamps: My Cute Stamps, PTI, Hero ARts
Die: PTI
Other: White chalk ink and chalk, 3D foam, Promarkers

It's a bit difficult to see in the photos, but I used aqua cardstock for the background and then squished my Versamagic white ink cube around the monkey and branch to create some clouds. I took ages last night looking for a greeting only to realise I still do not have an "It's your birthday..." stamp in my vast collection. Epic fail!

But at least this greeting conveyed the message I hope! ;o)

Your card makes me smile. So funny! And I love the monkey's big eyes with these beautiful eyelashes - I think it's a monkey lady =)
