Hello Florida sun!
This time tomorrow I'll be sat in the airport waiting for our flight to Orlando for the 2012 edition of Kirsty's Florida Crop - where 10 ladies of varying age go on a mad crafting, shopping and generally thoroughly hilarious holiday break in the sun. :D
We're just away for a little over a week, but a lot can happen and be bought in that space of time believe me. ;o)
But first, I leave you with my last little craft project for the time-being.
It's for Lythan's lovely Twinkle, Twinkle dare on the DCM blog, and as you've probably guessed she challenged us all to feature stars of any shape or form on our cards this week.
Here's my festive number:
Paper: Studio Calico, Crate, Basic Grey
Stamps: PTI
Dies: Spellbinders, MFT
Trim: The Ribbon Girl
Other: 3D foam, Distress Stickles
I was really surprised how well PTI's Terracotta Tile cardstock went with the red in the background papers, I always see it as being a very orangey red, but it really matched well on this card. And hurrah, I had time for some Distress Stickles action this week and managed to leave it alone long enough to dry!
Hope you have a creative weekend and I'll catch you next month! :D
This card is so adorable. I love the stamped image and the papers bring it all together so well. Have a great time and I am not jealous at all, oh no, not me... :)
