Boy do I need some cheer tonight!

It has been a very frustrating and aggrevating week so far... no need for details but I am sure there are times when you feel like you take one step forward, go three steps back and then knock your head against a brick wall!

Well, I am currently at the brick wall part. ;)

Wish I had the time and energy to escape into some reading or crafting, but there will be no let up until Friday evening.

In the meantime I have the Great British Bake-Off to restore my faith in humanity tonight...

Last week's 50 shades of flying streudel still makes me smile... hehe

I shall be watching and trying not to feel hungry as tonight's dramas unfold in the kitchen.

Then it's time to tune-in for a new fix of period drama - The Paradise:

Mmmm... look at the pretty ribbons and trim...

Looks like a promising Larkrise-replacement for the autumn.

I certainly hope your week becomes more bearable!

Now you've got me wondering if The Paradise will air here in the States at some point. My husband and I bought and really enjoyed all the seasons of Lark Rise to Candleford.
