Woah that was dicey!

Just back in from an after-work trip to the Metrocentre to meet up with a friend for dinner and window shopping... Took an age to get there as I was stuck in really bad snow from Washington services onwards... and I mean really bad snow where I wondered whether it would be best to get off at the next exit and high tail it home.

Thankfully by the time I got out of the Metrocentre it was no longer snowing but my car needed a good de-ice.

Here's hoping our weather is a lot better Friday night as it's the last crop before Christmas.

And speaking of, I need to work out what to bake tomorrow night, not to mention what to pack!

Oh and I have purchased this year's Advent Calendar in preparation for next week. As soon as I saw it, I had to have it! hehe

You'll see why when I take a picture!
