I'll be interested to hear how you find the slanket. The versions I've seen at the ice rink have always been a little disappointing.

Must admit, I was hankering after one of those double slipper things this morning when I was sat at the rinkside!

Ang

Well Nat, another one here who wants a slanket (it will be on my Santas list I can tell you!!)...I want the one from Lakeland Ltd.....I like my comforts (well I AM old you know lol!!!).

Andrea

Oh. My. Goodness.

I can't believe you've sold out and bought one of them - you'll be after a rocking chair next I guess?

Do you perhaps have some paper that you could burn to stay warm?

:)

I think Slankets will be all the rage at Gibside next year! Just imagine cropping in them ha!
I have now realised that with that shade of slanket I will probably resemble Yoda... cripes.
And burn paper Andrea, are you insane???
There are better things to be burning in the aged stash cupboard! Mind you, I wouldn't mind a nice rocking chair... hm... I wonder if Laura Ashley does them in the style of my beloved "knitting chair".

Carole

Oh no. Not a Slanket. They're one of our favourite thing to take the P out of when we see them advertised on the TV in the US ;-)

Mary

oh no, don't get one of those boots!!!! they are one (or two) steps away from a bus pass!!
