This week's DCM dare is an homage to the birthstone for July - the ruby!
My slant on this dare took me down a few avenues last night when trying to make my card... it was one of those evenings where nothing went as planned in the creative department!
However at least it's cheery - although I have always wondered why the girl on the swing has such a shocked expression in these October Afternoon stickers! Answers on a postcard please! LOL
Papers: Papertrey Ink, American Crafts, October Afternoon
Stickers: October Afternoon
Stamps: My Cute Stamps
Border punch: Fiskars
Other: 3D foam, Stickles
So there we go, slowly getting through some of my Fly a Kite stash, plus any excuse for some zingy colours!
that card is as cute as a button!
but maybe the branch is about to break? or is she afraid of bees :)

I think it's something to do with what the bird just said!
It's a fab card - love the patterns and colours
