Well I'm back again albeit briefly this afternoon to post some "recent" cards. ;o)
Today it's my dare over on the DCM blog - the dare is to make a card to celebrate Girlfriend's Day and Sister's Day (ha it's a good job July - aka National Ice Cream month - is almost over, as making a card for that would send me in search of a nice accompaniment from the freezer!).
But I digress, here's my card that will be destined for a very good friend. :o)
Papers: Girl Friday by Cosmo Cricket
Ribbon: Fancy Pants
Pearls: Prima
Other: Bazzill just the edge, Stickles, Glossy Accents
They're very Stickles-friendly these patterns, perfect for some extra pop. I also Glossy-Accented the "Queen bee" bit.
Also recently on the Banana Frog blog, this little project was posted:
Stamps: Banana Frog - De Louisville
Cardstock: Bazzill glazed
Papers: Cosmo Cricket, Echo Park
Dies: Nestabilities
Bling: SEI, Kaiserkraft
Other: 3D foam
I just love how this alpha works with ultra-zingy tropical colours - plus you can't beat a bit of layering!
And I am still addicted to using Bazzill glazed cardstock for card blanks. ;o)
Anyway, I'd best go do the washing up and get my dinner in the oven - exciting huh?
Oh I forgot to add...
A fab dare and really bright and funky cards. :)
