Have had a lovely day out today, did a bit of shopping after the hairdresser's, lunch at my fave local restaurant, and just enjoying a bit of summer!
While on my enjoyment high I decided to finally use my well-talked about impulse purchase of April. The Woodgrain background stamp from Hero Arts - oooh but I really like. It is so handy!
And it went just right with the prompt I wanted to do.
Prompt: "Krafty Love" - Inspiration: Miniature card, kraft background, stamped design, white/cream ink, hot pink accents
Stamps: Hero Arts, Papertrey Ink
Dies: Nestabilities
Bling: Kaiser Kraft
Other: Felt, heart punch
Also I have been seriously tempted by a new pair of Birkenstock's for this summer - see, it's definitely the weather that has affected me... earlier this week I would not have been thinking of summer footwear!
But I really want a pair of these in a size six and as cheap as possible, as at the moment with P&P the cheapest is just short of £50!
There is just no decent Birkie shop nearby - Clinkard's has never stocked this style (with the toe bit - I can't wear any of the others) and Schuh only does brown, white and black. Booo...
These would be under £40... but aren't as versatile as the other ones...
Hm, it would be a lot easier to decide in a shop that's for sure!
Anyway, I am logging off for the night and going to catch up with some of the programs I recorded this week, also do I start my current library book - if I do I might spend all of tomorrow finishing it! Decisions, decisions...
Those sandles look so comfy! I finally can wear flops without the ouch of that bit between your toes but I would love the ones you pointed out a ton more!
That stamp has been seriously tempting me for a while now! Fabby card!

the shop at the end of my street sells birkies, I can walk past and see what the styles/prices look like for you later.
