I've felt rather sloth like all day and really wanted to stay in bed this morning as it was just so nice and comfy and I was craving a few hours of reading a good book... well I had to go to work didn't I? LOL
But it is Friday so it's not too bad and although I won't have a proper lie in tomorrow I will at least be able to get out of bed at a more leisurely hour.
Also the book craving stayed so I scoured Fantastic Fiction for some new reads and put some orders in at the library. No doubt they will all come in at once, and any hopes of keeping up with a card a day will be dashed!
And speaking of cards...
This week's DCM dare was right up my street - bunting... I just love the stuff!
Here's my card using Fly a Kite stash from October Afternoon:
Papers: October Afternoon
Stamp: Papertrey Ink
Stickers: October Afternoon
Pearls: Prima
Other: Stickles
Ahhh, I'm loving the colours in this line but can't seem to match it nicely to anything other than kraft, even though I bought the "official" matching cardstock. There's just something lovely about it twinned with kraft.
Anyway, best go wait for my tea. Hoping the weather is nicer this weekend so that I can take some snaps of the new plant life. My tomatoes are coming along nicely in the conservatory and my dad has supplied me with some lovely Hebe for the trough out front, oh and a blueberry bush! Yum! Hoping to get some lavender too which will look lovely against the willow screening. Let's just hope I can keep it all alive!
Pretty! Love the bunting :)

Oh my, Nat. I think this is my favorite of yours. Love the colors, the banner, the kraft with it. Just beautiful!!

that's the wonder of kraft! (3 years ago I went into Artbase and asked for kraft cardstock and the bloke in there was baffled. Not the same now!). This gorgeous card just captures your fab style wonderfully
