I totally didn't have chance to post my DCM card from yesterday here on the blog - was out cropping last night, well not so much cropping as I managed to totally miss the fact I'd left my tool box at home, and even staring at the packed boot a few times during the day I didn't notice the glaringly obvious absence of my tool kit!
But thanks to Lorraine and Andrea I did manage to get something vaguely creative done last night!
Anyway, here's the card for the Anniversary dare:
Paper: My Mind's Eye
Chipboard accents: American Crafts
Stamps: Papertrey Ink
Other: Diamond Glaze
And speaking of My Mind's Eye - those Be Loved papers that I love so much had their stocks slightly replenished last night when Andrea gifted over a lovely wad of the papers in the line - I am so grateful! I just love this line and hope it'll be released as a digi kit one day... {happy sigh}
Am a bit tired out today what with getting into bed around 1 a.m. after getting home from the crop, and also have had some sad news about a relative that is rather difficult to take in.
But anyway...
I might as well share some pics of the craft space and what's currently working for me in my new scrapping hovel - aka the office.
My Ikea rails and hooks for keeping stash out of the way and in easy reach, plus you can easily see what you have:
And what you have a lot of... thankfully...
Then there's a permanent dedicated home for my Thickers, a collection spanning several years:
And my rolly-out drawer unit that holds wooden stamps, and pads, and various things that are quite shallow and usually bulky to store... I just roll it out up next to my desk and put my tool satchel and main paper satchel on it...
Then when I'm done with it, it just rolls back into the cubby area:
The other thing I love is the built in "wardrobe" that has now become the stash cupboard, it even houses my old shelving unit:
It still needs a good sort-out of stash, but it's all to hand... and best of all, out of sight:
So tidying up this, is actually quite a quick job now...
Find out tomorrow what this mess...
... turned into!
Love your anniversary card...huge fan of MME..love their goodness...
Thanks for sharing your creative space...love the rails..may have to figure out how to incorporate that in my crafty hallway space that I use...good grief, I chuckled when I saw your thickers storage, I have a ton of them and for some &^% reason I store them upright and wonder why I get funky creasing marks on some of the letters {slapping forehead!}...duh.

You're making some beautiful cards in this wonderfully organised, gorgeously coloured room :) I do like that new set of birdie stamps.
