  • About my project supply lists:
I only use and share products that I genuinely love. The product supply lists that accompany my projects are simply intended to provide a visual overview of what I've used in case you have the same items at home or would like to add them to your own shopping list. I link to several stores in the UK and US and as of July 1, 2017 I am an affiliate member of, Amazon UK, Ellen Hutson - this means that when you click on an affiliate link and go on to make a purchase I will receive a small percentage at no cost to you. Money raised through affiliate links will go straight towards my crafting fund. Finally, please note that any products marked "(r)" are retired and may no longer be available for sale online.

Ha Ha! Glad it is working :) If I remember to think ahead when I'm making my cards then I try not to run y atg up th very edge of my papers so that I don't stitch through the glue but usually I am not that clever to think ahead. Your needle might get a bit sticky but just give it a rub every now and then and it will be fine. The only 'problem' I've had is the eye of the needle getting clogged and I couldn't get the thread in but I just gave it a seeing to with my pokey tool :)

I use a thicker than average thread for my cards, made by Guttermann that I got in Hobbycraft (I think). It's on a fat bobbin and you get 100 metres. Extra strong or heavy duty I think it was called in black or white and some pretty coloured threads made by Coats that I bought in John Lewis.
Have fun!

Oh, and I am lazy so I never change the bobbin and only have regular white thread for the underneath :)

And ......... I forgot to say Gill has ordered me all the Copics!!! Should be in next week

Jane (Brodders)

Glad you got the little blighter out of the box :) I got my bobbins from a sewing shop and they pointed me in the right direction as to which ones to get as they are a bit smaller than normal ones for big machines.
As for thread I mainly use coats as they have a fab selection of colours.
I look forward to seeing whta great projects you are going to make x
