More spring creativity

I may have to stop with the spring/Easter cards soon... but not just yet!

Today's dare over on the Daring Cardmakers' blog is Tweetie Pie, the perfect dare for me considering the amount of birdie stuff I have in my stash - the only difficulty being pinning down my selection!

I stamped the little chickies on some nice spring-fresh yellow paper and mounted them on 3D foam. They look very cute on that card. And I really want more of those alpha stickers, really want more! I have essentially run out of vowels now so the rest of the sheet will be difficult to use up. :(

Also I had a bit of an impulse purchase day - no, not stash for a change!

I read that Boots had the exclusive launch of the new DKNY Be Delicious Candy Apple fragrances the other day, so I went to try them out... not necessarily with the view to buying one.

Well, I tried them all and liked them all, but went and bought the purple one that was the deeper smell with a hint of blackcurrant as I preferred that fragrance and it smelt the newest to me (not quite like the existing fragrances in this line):

Then on the way back to the office I popped into check out some iPod docking stations - a huge selection on display but I was able to try out the ones I had my eye on and decided on this JBL radial Micro model - great sound in the upper range, the bass wasn't as heavy as the Sony one, but the overall sound was cleaner and it was much more compact and portable:

Have tried it out at home and it is most impressive. I just hope I won't lose the little remote for it! It doesn't support battery operation but it does everything else I want and has 20 W sound output which is very good.

Then after a couple of hours of work back at my desk, the berry DKNY that I'd sprayed on my wrist was starting to smell a bit too overpowering for my liking, so after work I took it back to Boots and swapped it for the raspberry candy apple fragrance, fruity but sweeter and not as strong:

So there we are, I must not spend any more this month, on stash or other nice things! And I really need to set up my sewing machine at some point... hm.
