I've just read that Borders UK has gone into administration, it will continue trading for now, but what will this mean for my local Paperchase that operates out of Borders? Where will I get those lovely postcards and Owl stickers, and badges, and nice gift paper if it goes??

For me, it's the only bookstore for miles around, so I will really miss it. it also means we lose Paperchase and Starbucks, so quite a big loss all around if it goes. I am hoping it will be turned into a Waterstones or something like that.

I feel your pain Nat. During the summer this year our one and only Borders, just 5 minutes from home, announced it was pulling out of Swindon to be replaced by.... New Look!!!!
Grrrr... they were, at that time, saying that everything was fine they just got a good offer for the premises. Liars!
