Brrrr...

I keep hearing how the rest of the UK seems to be experiencing if not a heat wave, extremely lovely weather for this time of year! Well, here in the enclave that is the North East we seem to have regressed to winter weather - I've not seen the sun in days and it is bloomin' freezing at the moment, the heating is on full blast and I had to wear gloves today! :oO

But soon I shall be wallowing in (hopefully guaranteed) sunshine, because it's off to the sunshine state we go!

This time next week, we shall hopefully have arrived at our B&B next to Gatwick and it'll then be 10 days of ho-li-daaaaaaaay!

If I stop to think about all the stuff I need to sort out this weekend my brain will explode, but at least I've managed to get a few $$ exchanged now, and will pray that the exchange rate picks up a bit more, 1.5 would be lovely... :o\

In the meantime I just hope we have some nice weather here, as I am loathe to pull all my winter clothes out again just so I don't freeze to death at work.
