A bit disappointing, I've had another play with the KI ink pads, looked at some photos of them on Lifetime moments where they are pictured live at CHA and compared the colours on in the KI product catalogue, and they definitely are not representative of the colours you'd expect from those... I'm not totally bummed, it's not like I can't use them, they are still nice - but they appear really washed out in real life compared to the catalogue pics.
I've left some feedback for KI on their contact form just to say what I thought about them, and also the packaging which makes them difficult to stack - i.e. they don't! Plus they seem really dry and not at all juicy for dye inks. I had to push down on a number of stamps really hard, the black ink pad... well it's more a grey!
But it's not all negative... the stamps themselves are divine! :oD
So if you are thinking about getting the ink pads, I'd maybe hold off a bit until they've sorted out any manufacturing issues, hope they offer re-inkers as I think my pads could do with a good dollop or two to perk them up!
Hi Nat - Hope this isn't too forward, but would you mind emailing me privately if/when you have a chance? My email is perri_2@yahoo.com. I couldn't find a way to contact you privately here. Just had a quick question for you. Thanks! =)
Sorry to hear that the KI inks aren't a winner. Maybe the re-inkers will help. I'm sold on the Stampin' Up ink pads myself. Don't know if they have those over there...?

What a bummer Nat, thanks for mentioning it as I was eyeing them up lovingly on Craft Kittys ebay shop yesterday, oh well I think I'll be having a rethink on that one :) Hope you get some joy from the Ki Team
