Oooh well my little order of Karen Russell scalloped and diecut papers arrived from Craft Obsessions today. They are even more stunning in really life - Tree I know you don't need them, but one sheet on next month's budget would suit your little stock pile of journaler's notebooks I'm sure!
I'm still waiting on my Cowboy's Ransom stamps - they were shipped the 11th from the States, but still no sign - getting a bit anxious now as usually things arrive quite quickly from over the pond. Hope they've not been lost.
Bad news tho, the Savvy stamps were out of stock at Artbase... so off I trotted round the globe, aka I went googling!
I found that they are now available as a clear set, and Karen Russell also answered the burning question of what the fonts she used on her Annie's blocks project (totally lush!).
They're a mix of 7Gypsies rub-ons, so where did I find the combo of the stamps and rub-ons? Addicted to rubber stamping - hadn't shopped there in years but knew the shipping was a bit steep - yep $21 when all was said and done.
And I couldn't help myself, had to purchase a paper candy stamp - loved them all - the epitome of swank in rubber - ooer! But alas the best ones are wood mounted and I just can't go to that expense... Think of the weight - oh god that reminds me of Peter Kay's pick n mix rules, "Woah, woah, woah! FUDGE?! FUDGE? I'm not made of money! Check the weight of em before you put em in! Flumps, that's what you want! Flying saucers, have as many of them as you like!!"
But when you look at their site you'll know why I was tempted, actually have a look at them on addicted to rubber stamping as the site doesn't seem to show all the designs!
And which one did I choose?
Well this spoke to me, god knows how I'll use it, but it was very apt I thought! Might put it on the back of cards. hehe
