I cannot believe it, but I've just received my replacement trimmer!
The one I bought in the UK was missing the magnets on the back that hold the flap in the closed position, and I just wrote to them to ask if they had any magnets they could send and failing that just some direction on what kind of magnets they were as I loved my trimmer so much there was no way I was giving it up for a couple of missing magnets. Well, they wrote back and said they needed my address for my replacement trimmer as unfortunately they didn't have the magnets on their own and they would be happy to send me a replacement, I kind of protested at this a bit as it seemed far too much bother in my opinion!
BUT I have just opened up the Fed Ex box and tried the new one out and it cuts like a dream and also shuts with the magnets, etc. etc. Plus they included some rather gorgeous goodies that are just way OTT like the Halloween page kit with papers, embellishments, stickers and ribbons and the vintage Christmas kit with the same amount of stuff in! Wow! That's all I can say, WOW!!
I feel like fainting, never mind dancing!
I'm looking forward to playing with those Christmas papers, and may just have to save the Halloween kit for some suitable photos... from somewhere! Not sure where but maybe I need to just have my photo taken next year in the Halloween department or better yet, be in the States for Halloween! ;o)
So yes, am off to write a nice thank you e-mail to them as I felt it was the biggest example of customer service and care that I've ever seen.
Nat thats great news! I am glad you got lots of fabulous goodies along with a replacement trimmer. I am a huge advocate of Great Customer Service and this is another shining example.. :-)
