Now, am I the only one with my wacko "unusual" hair... but does anyone else's hair smell a bit toasted after straightening...
It's not me being heavy handed with the GHDs, as it's the same whenever it's straightened at the salon, BUT this is a constant toasty smell that I'd rather not have... so am now looking for some tips and product recommendations.
I currently use the Lee Stafford straight and shine protection spray, but it's not doing much to mask the smell that only I seem to pick up on and no one else... so is there an after product I should be using?
Miss clueless here... wax and hair spray (occasionally) is all I use after straightening...
So come on then, straightening experts, reveal your secrets!
Great Apprentice tonight, however I fear Zoe has fallen into a dark dark rage since Sayed is still in! lol and it won't be him going next week as the clip of Sir Alan saying "You're fired!" for next week was a bit nicey nicey, not the way he'd get rid of Sayed surely... So am I destined to miss Saye'd firing when on holiday? I have worked out that I can probably watch the free on demand showing of the episodes the week I am away as I will be back just in time to still catch those... so... bring it on.
Ruth 'The Badger' to win!
Many years ago I used to use tongs to curl my hair (yes, I know, how 80s). I am sure the toasty smell is hairspray (or other products) burning off your hair from the heat of the tongs. I can remember being concerned about it, and the hairdresser telling me it was quite normal and it's just the spray burning

I don't get the toasty smell! Sorry. No advice there.
Are you "overdoing" it with the straighteners maybe?
Yes, if Sayed doesn't go soon I might just scream. WHY IS HE STILL IN?!!!
And definitely Ruth to win.

Not sure I'm overdoing it... only use them after drying my hair so not every day... and hair is smelling fine today.... in fact it smells of my lovely green tea shampoo... Which is interesting...
In fact it's the dove shummer glow that I can really smell today... if there is a way to mask the fake tan smell I'd love to know, because if it's not the badly applied blotchy look that gives it away then the smell definitely will!

The prospect of missing The Apprentice is *almost* going to spoil the holiday!!!
Himself has received instructions to record it. Or be prepared for the largest tantrum since records began....

Mind you next week's looks particularly entertaining... it's carry on cruising! LOL
I think it's Michelle or Ansell to go next week as the delivery of "You're fired" was very "I'm afraid to say it but..." from the spoiler clip they showed.
I want a Ruth 'The Badger' Banner! lol
