"Baby boy - 6 weeks old" 1918

"Baby boy - 6 weeks old" 1918

Finally had a play with the october LRS kit, used the fantastic MM stamps (I even managed to stamp the word Baby without totally stuffing it up!) from the kit, plus 2 of the papers, a tab and that gorgeous ribbon - I need more of that as I only have about 15 cm of it left!

The other elements are K&Co. copper frame, mini frames, and epoxy number stickers, Jest charming charms, Prima flowers, SEI brads, MSE Cezanne stamps, PSX Pixie stamps...

Alas I really ruined the stamped journaling as I should have curved it more around the tab plus the wording just -- ugh I don't like how I've worded it, because I was afraid I was running out of space... grrr...

Right the story of the photo: Picture of my late grandma (big baby) with her mother and younger sibling Freddie - both born in the same year. Freddie died as an infant (probably from pneumonia) and as the family was so poor at the time he and later Ronnie were both buried in pauper's graves. Something which really upset my grandma to her dying day... Anyway, there is a whole nother story behind that chapter in their lives that I didn't want to put on this LO as the photo is so lovely, and such a rare find to have a natural pose like this...
