It may be April 1st, but it's no joke that I'm actually posting on my blog after a lengthy absence. I've not disappeared completely from cardmaking, just not had the creative get up and go of late. I've managed to make a handful of Easter cards for family and will share them at some point but I have a list of projects I still want to catch up on when the creative inspiration is back in full force. :)
One of them will be this month's card challenge which is on the theme of:
Nature
This prompt can take many forms, after all nature is all around us and it offers up some stunning sights:
You can go big and create a landscape scene with dies and ink blending or focus on individual elements:
- Florals, leaves and boughs
- Cute critters
- Bees and butterflies
- The seaside, shells and marine creatures
- Feathered friends
- Take inspiration from the colours found in nature photographs or paintings
- Incorporate weather elements: sunshine, clouds, rainbows, rain
The nice thing about this theme is that it will work for any occasion. :)
Happy crafting!
