Well, I am back from my impromptu break! I was pretty busy last week dogsitting Cassie the pooch (there was a lot of walking even if the weather wasn't that great) and then I caught a really yucky head cold last weekend that I've only just shaken off.
But yay, back with a new Daring Cardmakers card challenge this morning!
Leo has challenged us to make a card inspired by or which features a game.
Well, I decided to go into my old paper stash and try and use up some of this crossword patterned paper from Crate that I've had for a few years!
Paper: Crate Paper
Stand-out stickers: Crate Paper
Ephemera butterfly: Simple Stories
Dies: MFT, Lawn Fawn
Other: 3D foam tape
Lots of bright colours on this one, have always loved the book spine paper in this collection and it is great colourful contrast against the dark crossword puzzle background. Plus I added a bingo card in for good measure!
I had high hopes of making an interactive wordsearch/crossword card on a Parks and Rec theme (love that show so much - it is my happy place!) but sadly my cold and a lack of time this week put a stop to that.
Definitely check out the blog for some other playful ideas!
