This week over on the Daring Cardmakers blog Sharon has challenged us with a bit of a Marmite dare!
The Clean and Simple style of cardmaking is something crafters either love and create with ease or they struggle with!
As for me, I try as hard as I can to keep it simple but I can never resist a bit of pattern and bold colour.... so had I made this card in muted tones and just used cardstock or a very subtle pattern, I'm sure it would have looked a lot cleaner. ;o)
Paper: Pink Paislee, MME
Dies: Lawn Fawn, MFT
Enamel dots: Basic Grey
Other: 3D foam
I couldn't resist using some happy and bright papers and those lovely greys as contrast. Once again my lovely Lawn Fawn heart dies came out to play. I noticed there wasn't any green in the rainbows and the colours needed a bit of a lift around the sentiment so my favourite green enamel dots came to the rescue. I love that shade of fresh green!
Well there are definitely some much cleaner designs being showcased by the rest of the Design Team - so definitely head on over to the blog to see those lovely creations!
Happy weekend crafting!
