A creative start to the weekend

Papertrey currently have some lovely card sketches on Nichole Heady's blog at the moment as part of their anniversary celebrations.

They are available as a free download here and look really handy.

I chose the first sketch:

And made this:

Cardstock: PTI
Paper: MME
Stamp: PTI (Sending you)
Dies: PTI (mat stack 5, heart prints, angled labels), Spellbinders scallop and regular circle
Felt: PTI
Buttons and twine: PTI
Other: Sander, 3D foam

I'd best get my desk tidied if I plan to get anything else made today! ;o)

Ruth you wouldn't be saying that if you could see my bin! The main bit on the ribbony strip had 3 different incarnations before I gave up on it. I couldn't make it less chunky because of the pink mat hides some er... creative serendipity!
