Brrrr could it be Slanket night?

My self-imposed "no heating until October 1st" goal may be facing a bit of a set-back this evening.

It is sooo cold.

But before I reach go fiddle with the boiler, I may have to see how effective my Slanket purchase of 2010 was:

Best get it out the wardrobe and get the kettle on before Glee... Eeeh I do love Autumn - not least for the fact my fave TV shows all start up again. Really want to know how Grey's goes on from last season's finale too...

Mind you, with this cold weather Christmas will be here soon enough, yikes. :oS

I find this funny because my parents bought me a slanket for xmas last year and I LOVE it and I've also been using it. Also the fact I have said numerous times to my hubby that I refuse to put the heating on until October so a few nights we have spent snuggled under the duvet on the sofa and I've had a hot water bottle at bedtime LOL

Hurrah! I am glad I am not pathetically alone in this stubborn challenge! :D It's the principle of the thing, and the fact that I simply do not want it to be cold just yet!
Just six days to go until I will feel ok about putting the heating on, until then - fleece, slanket, and cosy socks at the ready. You don't even feel cool with that combo, especially after a cup of tea. :)

Hey, I loved the slanket too but I am now an avid fan of the Snuggle Suit! Weather has picked up now but it's supposed to be cold, cold, cold soon so I'm looking forward to snuggling into my snuggle suit - no matter how unstylish I look :-P Love your blog - makes me smile.
