Well, I don't know what everyone else is doing to celebrate the Royal Wedding today...
We were originally hoping for a BBQ later in the evening, but that would have required me to have bought a BBQ prior to today - but the weather is so cold and blah at present in these parts that if we'd had a BBQ we'd have most definitely been eating indoors!
However, one place I know is celebrating is the DCM blog - because this week it was my turn to set the dare. And of course I went for a royal or patriotic theme!
The girls on the design team really pulled the stops out - some really gorgeous cards indeed.
For my royal theme I went for a little princess card:
Seam binding: The Ribbon Girl
Other: Stickles, Distress Stickles, 3D foam, Copics, embroidery floss
I cracked open some of my "new" PTI stamps - the tiny birthday treats for the main design and the tiny tags set - which I just totally love. I shall definitely be using this set a lot especially since the matching die cuts all the tags in the set at once so I have 9 other tags already cut and ready to stamp on.
And I couldn't resist adding some regal red felt into the mix. I'm hoping for some more creative playtime this weekend so you know what'll be appearing on my next card no doubt!
Have a lovely Friday!
