They really sound so great, that is until you have to try and manoeuvre a step ladder around your bath to try and paint the ceiling properly... and find your arm is just a centimetre too short to touch that corner! Grrrrr....
However, bathroom has now been painted - I hope to God it doesn't need painting again in the next however many years! Because it was rather a difficult process that involved acrobatic balancing skill on the bath rim by my ma and perching on the top rung of the rickety old step ladders by me - we are both aching a bit after all that!
Bedroom painting delayed due to the fact that while cleaning the room in preparation for painting, I found the corner of the ceiling had a whacking great gap behind the paper that lined it and no way was it sticking down, it just kept coming away more and more so my dad finally applied industrial strength Solvite, cut a bit away, and hopefully once it is dried a few coats of paint will cover the worst of the damage and I can get on after work tomorrow with painting the walls since he said if he's not too busy he'd try and get the ceiling painted for me tomorrow, at least there will be no bath in the way for that one. LOL
Oh and I must charge my camera battery, I went armed to take Before shots, and it died after the first, out of focus photo. The only change to the bathroom has been the white repaint of the walls, hardly exciting. hehe
