Oh blessed relief

I was so happy to see a bit of rain today. Yes really!

But under the condition that it changes back to sunshine in a day or so. ;o)

The reason, yet another night of no sleep.

I have no idea why, since during the day I am totally knackered! But last night was especially restless and I ended up watching that episode of Top Gear with the caravans on freeview twice, as I dozed off the first time through, half way into it, then had to spend another 15 minutes fast forwarding to the relevant bit and watched the rest until 2 a.m.

3 a.m. came round and I was still mostly awake retrieving the duvet from the floor... then next thing I know alarm goes off at half six and I am so tempted to hit snooze... hehe

So this bit of rain, although it got my birkies a bit soaked when running (OK fast jogging) to catch the bus, was very welcome, very welcome indeed as the office wasn't like an oven and I think I can manage an early night... well after having a bit of a read of my current book of choice - Cat by Freya North.

Never read anything by Freya yet, so we're already off to a good start as it's building up a pace... and I'm only about 45 pages into it. Also the Chick Lit group on LibraryThing.com is one dangerous place to hang out, too many cool recs... :oO

Oh and I have finished another little item for a project and am rather happy with it. Well for the time being!

hmm, i checked out the forecast today, trying to plan ahead - cloudy and rainy right upto and inc. the weekend for here :( I've had to put the quilts back on the beds!
