We're having a fun old time of it on the Daring Cardmakers blog this week!
Kathy has dared us to feature a swinging or rotating element on our cards and much as I hoped I could come up with something original, I went with plan C and got the Easter Bunny back on the case!
Paper: Simple Stories, MME
Dies: PTI, MFT, WPlus9, Lil' Inker Designs
Enamel dots: Simple Stories
Other: hemp twine, pompom, 3D foam tape, Stickles
The little bunny is actually quite dimensional and if you twist him around a few times on the string, he'll twirl about in the aperture. I really wanted to go with some nice pastel spring shades for this card and it was the perfect impetus to jazz up the circle aperture I created with the fab Spring Wreath die from WPlus9. I made the little flowers pop by using an embossing stylus on the flower centres and then added lots of sparkly Stickles to the centres. :)
Will definitely need to use this wreath more while it's still spring!
There are some rather ingenious ideas on the DCM blog from the rest of the Design Team so do check them out! :D
